WInter is Coming
Adaptive Action Sports (AAS) is continuing to work hard towards the international goal of creating a new sport for the 2014 Paralympic Games in Sochi, Russia: parasnowboarding! Since 2005, AAS' unique and original programs have been helping to pave the way for significant progression in the adaptive snowboard community and our collective Paralympic goal. From the first World Championship event ever, sanctioned by the WSF in 2008, to our world class boardercross camps at Sierra at Tahoe ski resort in Lake Tahoe, we are making great strides. Make sure to stay tuned to the AAS website for updates on our winter programs at www.adacs.org and visit the "Support AAS" page to donate to our cause. We are excited to announce that the US Paralympic Committee has endorsed and agreed to help AAS with our bid for a World Cup/Championship event at USASA Nationals this season. Cross your fingers that we get approval to host! There are grants available! To those interested in attending any of our events please contact us at info@adacs.org for information on grant opportunities. We look forward to a wonderful winter season and hope to see everyone soon.
