It'd be easy to say that the Hendricken Hawks "shocked the world" yesterday in the Division I Super Bowl at Cranston Stadium, but after knocking off undefeated LaSalle last year, this year, and winning three in a row, well.....maybe it isn't so shocking anymore.
Despite having been beaten decisively on our home field by the Rams only a couple of weeks ago, 28-7, the Hawks had put that loss in their rear-view mirror and came ready to play, knowing full well what most prognosticators around the state were generally predicting for a result. The pictures (more below) tell the story, and a link to important game details is included.
