Hawks Tops at Division I Swim Meet; Hockey Race Tightens as Playoffs Draw Near

In today's Providence Journal, our swim team is noted for taking first place in the team standings in yesterday's Division I swim meet at Roger Williams University.  Composite scores from the meet are as follows:

The ProJo also provides a brief summary of the tightening of the race between our guys and Mount St. Charles for the top spot in the D-1 hockey state tournament.  Our dropping two games to the Mounties over the past two weekends hasn't helped, and our guys skated to a 2-2 tie with Xavier of Connecticut this past Saturday night, a game that was broadcast live right here on The Network.
