Last Monday Night's Hawks-Rams basketball game (televised live here on The Network, with Johnathan Feeny doing the play-by-play) was a thriller, no doubt. The final minutes, however, while tense, certainly leave a a bit to consider with regards to Kazre Cummings's three-pointer which cut the Rams' lead to one, 55-54, with minutes remaining. After Koz followed through on his shot, he is clearly hit and knocked to the floor. How is that not an 'and-1'? That would have been the point to tie the game.
I know, it sounds like sour grapes, but it really isn't. LaSalle has a great team, and both squads performed very, very well. Just a note to the refs:
DON'T LOOK AT THE BALL.
