Hawks' Soccer Closes out Regular Slate, Moves to Playoffs as #6 Seed


Coach Johnston said it best Friday afternoon: even though our varsity soccer team was assured, one way or another, of a decent playoff seeding, they couldn't take winless Woonsocket for granted - the Villa Novans would've liked nothing better than to come to our field, win their first game of the season, bump our guys further down the playoff ladder, and on our Homecoming to boot.  Our guys would have to be ready to go.

Our guys came ready to play, knocking off a determined Woonsocket squad in the regular season finale, 2-0, and securing the #6 seed for the upcoming state playoffs.  Goals were scored by Alexander Leite and Christian Leonard, and goalie Dan Escobar tallied five saves.
