20 Straight Class A's.....
Yesterday's Providence Journal made note of the fact that our indoor track team, unfazed by the blizzard and the prospect of defending a 19-year championship run, once again came out on top at the Class A state meet. The link to the Journal's story can be found here.
Highlights from the final results are as follows:
Connor Doyle won the 3000 in 9:19.7.
Lee Moses was second in the long jump in 21-2
Colin Tierney was second in the 1500 in 4.12
Moses was secon in the 55 in 6.6
Hendricken also finished second in the 4-x-200 (Power Kanga, John Cute, Nick Stravato and Lee Moses) in 1:36.5 and second in the 4-x-400 (Mario Rousseau, Marcus Swift,
Matt Lombardi, Moses) in 3:40.8.
